Beauty in Japan and India




Japan and India

The differences between:

Gender
Japanese culture
Indian culture

Women

·        They wear red clothes
·        Often jewellery
·        Tied hair
·        Japanese sticks on hair
·        Eyes painted or white make up
·        They use fans


·        Colorful clothes
·        Much jewellery
·        Long black hair
·        “Bindi” between her eyebrows
·        Eyes always painted
·        They use perfume of jasmine and sandalwood.
·        They wear veils


Men
·        Short black hair
·        Black or white clothes
·        Socks with flip flops
·        Honorable and humble
·        Short black hair
·        Concerned and interested
·         Arrogant and snooty
·        They use skin care products.







Japan and India are countries in the East of Asia. 




INDIA

India is the second most populous country in the world and it is the most populous democracy in the world. It is a multicultural country.  The religion practiced is mostly Hinduism. There are a lot of differences between both cultures.

Women in India wear colorful clothes, much jewellery and a veil. They have a “Bindi” between their eyebrows. Their eyes are always painted. They use perfume of jasmine and sandalwood.

Men in India have short black hair.  Stereotypes of beauty for men in India include:
·        They should always be concerned and interested.
·        They should be arrogant and snooty.
·        They use skin care products.





JAPAN



 In the Japanese culture, the women  wear a traditional red dress called Kimono, they often wear jewellery, also wear tied hair with sticks, the women wear make up and  they paint their eyes.

The men wear black or white clothes and socks with flip flops as traditional clothing.
The most commom behavior for men in Japan is beaing an honorable and humble person.

 This lifestyle comes from the Samurai Culture, an honorable legion of warriors, which dedicate their lives to improve their performance in every aspect.

They have a wide variety of traditional food like white rice and drinks like sake that is an alcoholic drink.
